But what if can't remember who your MP is? Check out the Houses of Parliament website where there is a list of all MPs. Just use the find facility in your web browser to find the name of your constituency MP, on the other hand, pop along to your local library which will have all the information you need!.

To your Council

Your local library will have all the details about your local council and councillors - addresses, names, departments ... or you could even email your council!
Not all councils are on the Internet (yet!) but a comprehensive list of UK local government sites is maintained by the CCTA Government Information Service
