Information for All's Bid to the Millennium Commission
Seminar and Executive Lunch - Wednesday 5 February 1997
Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre- London SW1

We are pleased ti invite you to this special event held as a prelude to what we hope will be a successful approval from the Millennium Commission to go forward to the long listing stage and detailled review.

It will be an opportunity for you to enjoy a good lunch and listen to an address on the key themes of the Information for All campaign by Sir Charles Chadwyck-Healey. There will be a display from relevant organisations and three short workshops on the different aspects of the Millennium Libraries.

The timetable will be an 11.00 am start, with a chance to view the small exhibition, and attend a workshop. A pre-lunch Reception will be hled, followed by lunch at 12.30, after which Sir Charles will make his address. The afternoon will consist of two workshops, followed by tea and will finish arouind 3.30pm.

Workshops will be held in parallel, led by a commerical supplier, a library authority, and by Information for All, and at the workshops your active participation will be encouraged. (Workshop options will be signed up upon arrival ar Registration).

The event is being held partly by Information for All, with a subsidised price of £49 per head. Do please suggest to your colleagues that they also come. We look forward to seeing you on 5 February. A booking form is attached for your convenience - invoices will be sent after the event.
