W Gwyn Williams was invited to become a director of Information for All because of his belief in the need to ensures that appropriate information technologies are available though public libraries.
He has been Head of Cultural Services, Denbighshire County Council from April 1996. Prior to Local Government Re-organisation in Wales he was director of the Clwyd Library and Information Service for 14 years. Gwyn Williams is currently chair of the Library and Information Services Council (Wales) - LISC (W).
