Work Package 5 Transmission of Data

This work package will consider how the data related to electronic publications can be interchanged between publishers and national bibliographic agencies. Among other factors consideration will be given to the:

• type and characteristics of the data
• volume of data
• security and integrity of data
• frequency of data transmission
• technical capabilities of publishers and national bibliographic agencies
• technical infrastructure within the country where data transmission is taking place.
