The project will build on these strengths and extend them by working with several associate groups who bring a wide range of skills, enthusiasms and requirements to Agora.
Associates
The following groups have been set up: library associates (convened by UEA); service provider associates (convened by UKOLN); and technical associates (convened by UKOLN with support from Fretwell Downing). The service provider associates ensure interworking of solutions and collaborate to provide services into Agora. The library associates are working to provide services to their users, developing a view of how distributed services should appear to the user, and feed back into development issues. The technical associates support overall development within an interoperable environment.
